iKoto is an application for playing Koto（Japanese Harp） on iPhone.
Koto is a Japanese traditional stringed musical instrument that can produce oriental tone.
Recording, playing, and demonstration functions are installed.
There are tone scale change and pitch-bend functions.
If you like Harp, you will like Koto too.
Enjoy Japanese traditional sound.

Recording data can be stored up to three.
iKoto has a function to output recording-data into PC as WAV-file via WiFi.

Ever dreamed to play this beautiful instrument? Well, I simply couldnt! And yet, I am spending time now making lovely melodies and enchanting my friends with it! What a pleasure it is to play virtual Koto! Oh, yes! It is of course worth it!
High quality notes. Enough notes to play pretty much any Japanese/Asian melodies without having to swipe the screen or anything. Clean and functional UI. Ability to change scales as needed. I dont understand why people complain about not being able to play multiple notes cleanly. This is a Koto, not a grand piano. Have some musical sense!
I think of the many instruments Ive purchased Ive probably spent the most time with this one. The samples are good quality and unlike what the other reviewer stated, it can play several notes together with out cutting each other off. You can bend each string which is good (though this is where the sound becomes a little more electronic than natural.)
This app also provides three pre-recorded songs and you can record up to three of your own creations. You can also play along with any of these songs which I enjoy.
I do wish that there was a simple way of varying the force each string is plucked perhaps by where you touch the string. If you like the sound of this instrument then I think you will enjoy using this app and the price seems fair.
Ive loved the koto since I first heard Vivaldis 4 season played on it. This app while bending the strings seems a bit clumsy but over all delightful.
